私たちはロバート・ルイス・スティーブンソンの詩集「子供の詩の庭」の中の「ノドの地（眠りの国）」からインスピレーションを受けて音楽を作っています。今まさに必要な、心へ直接歌いかけるような音を皆様に届けたい。そんな思いでこの不安な毎日を乗り越えています。
ハープと尺八の音色を枕に、一緒に夢の国へ旅をしましょう！

プロフィール：
2020年のコロナ・パンデミックの最中、尺八奏者ブルース・ヒューバナーとハーピスト新井コルチ薫は、この苦しむ世界が今必要な音楽を作るべくレコーディングセッションを開始する。2人はイギリスの作家ロバート・ルイス・スティーヴンソンの詩集「子供の詩の庭」の中の「ノドの地（眠りの国）」からインスピレーションを受け、デュオ名を「ノドの地」と命名。その名の通り、聴く者をストレスのない、穏やかな夢の国へ運ぶような子守唄やクラシック、オリジナルの曲を中心に演奏。尺八の息遣いや運指の音と、ハープの弦を指で弾く音が合わさることによって、思いがけない親密な音色が生まれることに気付き、これからも様々な可能性を追求していきたいと考えている。

ノドの地は2020年12月から2021年1月にかけて、初めてのアルバムを作成するためのクラウド・ファンディングを計画中である。

前回出産後初のライブを行わせていただいたMelody Lineさんで、今回はチェロとピアノのユニット「アルコウ」さんとトリオの編成での演奏をお届けします。

ピアノ、チェロ、ハープ。まるでクラシックの編成ですが、そこはジャンルを超えて色々な音楽にチャレンジします。タイトルは「Across Genres, Borders, and Generations」。日本語でいうと、「ジャンル、境界、世代を超えて」といったところでしょうか。ちょっと大げさですが、言うならばとにかく誰でも楽しめる音楽を！と言う気持ちを表現したいと思っています。

ですので今回も、特に子供向けの内容ではありませんが、子連れでもライブに行きたい！という私自身の思いと、色々な方からのお声を会場に届け、お子様連れも歓迎！というコンサートにさせていただきます。

I'll be back at the Melody Line this October, where I played my first post-baby show, with 2 incredible musicians - a cello and piano duo "Arcou". With Mayumi Sano on the cello and Sayaka Kishi on the piano, they are a vibrant duo who play an array of original pieces. Harp, cello and piano may sound like a classical ensemble, but we will be performing pieces from many different genres.

The title of our show is "Across Genres, Borders and Generations". As the title suggests, I want this to be a concert with a very "inclusive" feel. So once again, I asked the venue to open up the concert for young audiences. Since the arrival of my little one, it has become really difficult for me to attend concerts and live shows that are not geared towards children. The content of this concert will be geared towards our grown-up audience, but babies and children will be welcome!

寒い冬を吹き飛ばす、ハープソロのライブを立春に行います。妊娠中「産休プロジェクト」と銘打って産休中毎日ビデオを投稿していたのですが、そのライブ版をやろう！と思ったわけなのです。

ザ・プリンス・パークタワー内の「メロディライン」でのライブですが、私自身子供が生まれ、子連れで行けるライブが少ないなぁといつも思っていたので、特別に日曜日の午後の時間、未就学児も入場可能にしてもらいました。

特別に子供向けの内容にするわけではありませんが、ハープのソロライブはなかなか珍しいかなと思うので、よろしかったらご家族みなさまでお出かけください！

I uploaded a video a day during my maternity leave - now that my maternity leave is over, I'd like to play these favorite tunes, live! I will be playing at Melody Line in Prince Park Tower, which is a snazzy venue, but I have found how difficult it is to go to a live performance when you have a kid - so I've asked the venue to allow kids too!

It'll be on a Sunday afternoon, a kid-friendly time of 2pm start. Little kids under 6 are free. Kids under 15 are ¥2500. 

A harp-only live show is pretty rare, so please bring your family and friends along!

Soprano Singer Tomoko Shibata has been organizing and singing her "Salad Anniversary" Concerts for years now. This is the 9th concert, and once again she will be projecting her love of music - in her words, "music is like a colorful salad, there are so many elements that are enjoyable". I will be performing alongside pianist Takehiko Yamada and cellist Hajime Mizoguchi.

We were called back to do another gig similar to the last one, and this time we'll be rocking the house with 2 new girls. Ms.Kumiko Inoue will be lecturing on stage about the history and the makings of the harp. The participants will have an Irish or Saul harp to try and will be performing a song at the end of the lecture.
